Appreciate the feedback/idea. I'd never seen anything like this to be honest.

I'm not sure if 3d printing is the right material to be using for a tie down point to be completely honest. The R&G units linked are aluminum pieces, and I'm sure are a nice piece....but at the same time, they're priced at Revzilla for $80.

Out of curiosity, what's the outer diameter of that tie down ring?

The product idea I originally had, was literally just a cosmetic improvement without the high price point.

I wouldn't be opposed to trying to mock up some sort of tie-down feature to include...but it just may not make sense from a price-point.

Thanks for the dialog. Cheers.

Got tracking information for two different styles of plates. A simple flat black plate, and then a more curved plate with text scribed on the surface.

Figured this might be cool to offer custom inscriptions. Not flashy by any stretch....but something unique that you'd have to look directly at, in order to see. I've got one of those 'Moto Key Tags' from motoloot and I could see some of these transferring to this plate pretty easily... Link HERE.

The simple flat plate should be good for < $10/ea. A requested custom scribed plate, @ $10.99 each.

Pictures to come soon.

Can I throw out a few sketch ideas tonight, and turn something around in a day or so after I hear back from ya?

Right now custom stuff isn't much more than the flat plate, just because I'm Ok with building up a library of components....Price for a flag design would be the same as the other custom designs, which I think is currently $10.99

All of the items currently available are here: https://www.shapeways.com/shops/jointbeaker

I've got to find a way to better sort the parts, as eventually it'll become difficult to sort...but that's just me rambling here.

Could I have you PM me a good email address for you (?), and I'll send ya a few sketched out ideas prior to drawing up in cad....

Cool? Thanks for the interest, btw.

Morning - I got it to work in firefox, as a Guest in Shapeways.

On the product screen, I clicked the red BUY NOW button, which should have brought up a shopping cart pop up window in the top right.

Admittedly, it took longer than it should have, to actually get to the cart, and begin the checkout process, but everything seemed to work up to that point.

Any progress yet?
