I ended up subscribing to MotoGp.com after BeIn dropped them, but missed a lot or races this year...harder for me to come upstairs and sit in front of my computer to watch races.

I watched them all on beIN on SlingTV. On my computers which are hooked to TVs. Or on my tablet.

I don’t think Bein ever dropped MotoGP. Several providers, including Comcast, dropped Bein.

I watched them on Bein this year. WSB was a lot more sketchy.

It's getting close to go time, so I thought I'd bring over the non-NBC related content here.
Has anyone seen Yamaha's new Holeshot launch device? It looks pretty trick. Maybe a Hydraulic disconnect to the rear shock to lower it down and then 'lock it'. They way they turn it, it looks like a valve. I wonder if there is a risk of not getting it locked back to normal after launch during an actual race when nerves and distractions along with weather and potential bike issues can arise and steal focus.
Still looking for the video of all the Yamaha riders using it at the Qatar test. I saw it on FB.

Not sure how Yamaha's device works, It looks like a mechanical valve or selector. Ducati's HS device didn't seem to make a "hole" lot of difference last year. The Yamaha and Suzuki bikes look very good overall during Malaysia and Qatar practice tests.

On the points, no it didn't make a difference against Marc... But on the start, it definitely made a holeshot difference.

Good news for NBC, even they can't screw up a canceled race.

Jorge Lorenzo confirms Catalan Grand Prix wildcard with Yamaha !!!

Lorenzo completed two-days of testing at the Sepang shakedown and official tests in February, and immediately felt at home on the M1.

"So, after some weeks thinking about it, yesterday I decided that I will participate in the Catalan GP," Lorenzo said in the video. "I'm really looking forward to it and I hope to see you there!"

The Catalan Grand Prix will be Lorenzo's first race for Yamaha since Valencia in 2016, when he won his final race for the factory team. During his nine-year stint with Yamaha, Lorenzo won three MotoGP titles and remains the only rider to have beaten Marc Marquez in the premier class.

It'll be interesting to see if he can be competitive at all... Last season on the Honda was a disgrace. Anyone else could have made much better use of his grid-spot.

If the bike fits you can win if it doesn't you lose.

I can understand this as a former ski racer the fit of the gear is paramount for success. If it doesn't feel right you will always be unsure and uncomfortable of your performance.

Yeah this is kind of a real shocker but I guess he must feel like home on the Yamaha.

Never did think it would work out on the Honda next to the fastest Rider on the planet and after crashing really hard a few times he had zero confidence in it and started complaining like only Lorenzo can do.

If he starts messing with Rossi again I'm going to be pissed off!

I really do get that... But at the same time, he was on the same bike as the runaway championship leader. As a multi world champ, he struggled to even finish in the points, then puts all the blame on the bike. It's tough to feel much sympathy for the guy at that point, and I'm left wondering if he cared enough to try at all.

He was able to get results and win on the Ducati, something many tried and failed at, he doesn't have to prove anything. Mad skills, and mucho respect.

Yep. Fantastic rider, just not quite at Marquez's level.
