My 88 Year Old Mother Finally Approves of Motorcycle Habit after 45 years - LOL

Seems I have won her over. My mother painted this card for my recent birthday, while a photo from my dirt bike trip to Utah just prior to it is also attached. She did not see the photo on the right before painting the card. I think she did quite a job! The stringy little trees in both the card and photo are eerily similar.

On the sillier side, I forgot to pack sandwich bags for my backpack. These "Sani Bags" worked just fine, actually fit the square torta bread I used for my sandwiches like they were made for it - mmm, good! I bet the housekeeper wondered why the guy staying in the room kept using those bags though. She dutifully restocked them every morning

It was a kick ass fun ride, explored some truly desolate places and went over some truly gnarly terrain that I would not have done on my own. Amazing what hanging out with a bunch of "A" level riders and a little peer pressure can do...

A few more pics from the ride. Such a vast landscape. That is the aptly named Green River below our tiny looking bikes. "Dead Cow" trail lived up to it's name this time also.

The loose affiliation of nuts I associated with on this ride was "Team Wanker" and they tend to leave their mark everywhere they go, like on Odd's Trail here.
