How to / Best Way to send fax from my PC

So I need to send a few scanned PDF pages to someone via fax.

As I don't have a land line let alone a phone line and a modem on the PC, how does one send a fax while you're on the internet?

Just need to send 5 pages - don't see a need to do it again.

Suggestions?

There are several solutions online. Google it. I pulled up quite a few. Some require a subscription but have a free 30 day trial.

Yah I’ve used one or two those services before. Works great for 1 or 2 pages for free.

Not sure what the cost is after that.

An alternative, most grocery stores and of course office supply stores offer fax services.

Grocery stores offer fax services? Never seen that.

Certainly a UPS or FEDEX store do.

If you find a time machine and set it to the mid to late 90's you could fax it from almost any home, and return with their freshly abandoned carbon copy paper.

Why can't you email the pdfs to them as attachments and let them print them out if they need to? Assuming there's a reason.

Government regulations. Same reason you can't e mail information to your doctor, but you can fax it to them. Which is why doctor's offices have fax machines.

Luckily I can communicate via their internal messaging system. I can even send them PDFs or images etc.

But they cant send me forms via their own system. Not even blank ones. Ridiculous.
