??movie maker/film editor?

Back in the day, I used Ms movie maker to make some video/movies. It was simple for me then. Then, after my crash, Feb 1, 2014, movie maker was gone! I scrambled to retrieve any unfinished ms/mm project...no joy there.

Now, as the REV3 project is back in full swing, I've written a commercial??? that's been bouncing around in my head for several years. I have a lot of hour of riding (somewhere)videos, and I have no way to create, etc.

What are you using? Is it easy to use? Is it free? or cost $$$ ??

I downloaded a free flmora9 but it needs me to update my graphics drivers

As always you guys and gals are the best.

Blessings.

When I was doing a ton of video editing ages ago I used Sony's "Vegas" software.

Ah. Maze. Ing.

Ultra powerful. Apparently used in some TV stations. Very steep learning curve but it would do everything I could want. Easily drop clips, fades, color enhancing etc.

That was 10 years or so back, they have different versions now. Looks like the entry leven one is only $50. They also offer free trials.

I think all the big guys (people who make money off YouTube) use either Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro. I use Final Cut Pro, I downloaded it illegally back in the day when I was a student as I didn't want to sink so much money into something that isn't going to make me a dime. It's very powerful. Apple's website says it's $300. I don't know if it's a lifetime thing or not.

I use Adobe Premier Elements (not Pro), which is their entry level product. Easy to use. Haven't upgraded in several years, but you could get it, along with Photoshop Elements, for less than $100 back then.

I’m betting all the top ones have evaluation versions. May be worth it to just try several out.

Good luck. Video editing is a massive time suck!!
