I've ridden it dozens of times on sport bikes and once on my Vrod.

Swing by. Looks like you are less than an hour away. Look for my truck. Black Nissan Titan XD with a blue Yamaha WR250X parked nearby.

I almost go right by DCTC when I go to St. Paul. I take 52 up from Rochester. Just under 4 hours. Remind me of spring events Brad.

Sure thing.
I used to post the yearly zars events in the track section here.
They go to BIR, Road America, Blackhawk and even MAM in Nebraska, although I believe that track has a new name.

Dusted off my old KTM and went to a local race. First time I've been on a supercross track in 26 years. OMG did my arms ever pump up in practice. Moto 1 of race 1 I was exhausted. Moto 1 of race 2 my shifter came loose and I was stuck in 4th gear but did ok. Moto 2 of race 1 I was feeling great and riding really good (for a 56 yo). Moto 2 of race 2 I was in the zone, trying to tuck my bike under the second place bike. Thats when my bike slipped and I did a 360° dropped to 4th. I hit next double on a different angle then all night. Lost it and leg went foot first into a large tire. Felt broke instantly. Got bike restarted and went bake to pits. Ended up with a "I told you so" from the wife. Broke my fibia in 2 spots, tibia in 1 spot and ankle in several spots. Surgery sometime next few days and then spend quality time qith my wife who gets her gallbladder removed next week. Thank god we have 2 tv's in out RV.

82 packer - ouch, get well soon.
My day was less eventful, took the vstrom for a ride.
Put around 240 miles on it yesterday with a ride down to lake pepin and a return trip through Wisconsin. Working well, going to be dropping pegs and raising the bars a little bit for additional comfort. Other than that, possibly a taller windscreen.

Been upgrading the FJ09! Just lazy to report back. Installed Ivan’s ECU week and a half ago! Difference is immense, both in throttle smoothness and unlocked 1-3rd gear and midrange grunt. Very satisfied with him. No PCV needed.

Ordered some Fren Tubo SS lines from PJ, getting them installed as we speak. First time having a bike with ABS and so changing brake lines is more than I wanted to deal with and it’s all tight around there, mechanic isn’t a fan right now!

But 4 year old fluid and lines will be replaced and braking will be all new and ready for Arkansas this weekend for the fall meet, and first time doing a proper sport touring/twisties trip.

Good addition, you did forks and a shock so let's go. Ring ring me.

Finally found a reasonable adjustable shift lever for Otto, BMW has trick components but theirs is $381.00 and you really need a matching set so $900 all in and done. Negatory.

SW Motec is in no damn hurry to machine low production specialty parts but finally secured one.
