I'm hoping for a great MotoGP season. Marquez is the big unknown, but very talented and fearless. Already has the Aliens shaking their heads in wonder. Rossi back on a Yamaha and little time left to cement that he is the GOAT, Lorenzo at the peak of his game, Pedrosa with time running out and Marquez as his teammate, Crutchlow definitely "coming on the cams". Many talented and pretty equal racers...here's hopin' for a great year.

Not to offend, but MotoGP Qualifying Results would have been a better title.

But thanks for the "spoiler" alert. I was just worried the race had been run and you posted results.

1st 7 within 1 second.

The older wiser alien with the new kid alien, the gangly half alien, the two head aliens, and a couple of others in the mix. If the whole season is that close it's going to be very interesting.

What if Rossi hadn't gone wide early on?

He would have finished second! Lorenzo checked out, I don't think Rossi could have kept pace.

It was an entertaining race. I'm sure Crutchlow is beating himself up over his mistake.

Nice to see Spies be able to shake off the CRT bikes and finish 10th, he is a pretty wounded rider at this point.

What were their lap times? Especially before Rossi got caught up in the battle for second. I would have given my left nut to see a Lorenzo/Rossi battle for the lead.

I don't know their lap times, but Rossi dropped around four or five seconds back after the mistake, but Lorenzo pulled out to a seven second lead at one point, then just managed the gap.

My feeling is that Rossi can't keep up with Lorenzo over a race distance at this point in the season.

Oh yeah, that Mrquez guy looked pretty decent, too.

Mrquez was running with the big dogs today. He will be a force this year, for sure. The Honda was looking very strong this year.

Anyone have any links to post race interviews?

Great start to what should be an exciting year ahead. Marquez was impressive for his first GP race and Rossi rode like he has something to prove. Like said, would like to see what happened if he hadn't run it wide.

Anywhere, besides motogp.com, to watch a replay online?

Lorenzo looked like Lorenzo...fast, smooth, unbeatable when he gets a lead.

Marquez was impressive

I had written Rossi off last year, figuring he had lost the fire in his belly. I was wrong. He rode like the Val of old, storming from way back to the podium. It was great to watch. I hope the rest of the year is as good.

I was disappointed for Dani. He doesn't normally let anyone get past him, much less two rivals. I picked Dani to win it ll this year. Poor start for that!

Crutchlow is an animal. When he learns to quit making mistakes, he will be a force to be reckoned with.
