I have another set of wheels to make it street also.

Picked it up cheap and wanted something different. It is brutal to ride. lol

That looks like something Mad Max would ride! Just one's opinion but those passenger pegs really need to go. They seem very out of place for the look your going for. Nice lookin ride though.

Yeah. You are right.
Just got it ride able yesterday. Not complete yet. Probably 98% there. Pegs will be off today.

I forgot the exhaust is connected to the foot peg. Anyone know of a cheap exhaust bracket without just cutting this foot peg up?

Love it, though I would probably have gone with a big stonking Motodemic headlight.

You can get an exhaust hanger here: https://www.ebay.com/i/301257286944?chn=ps&dispItem=1

Or you could make one with some sheet steel, a vise, a drill, and some barbecue paint.

This was a bike I gave $1000 for. The headlight was $15.

Those Motodemics are nice but I am not putting a $500 headlight on a $1000 bike.
Baja Designs lights are nice too.

I did make a bracket today though. Waiting for the paint to dry.

A few changes. Removed the rear pegs and changed the Yamaha stickers.
Made the hanger mount of out a scrap piece of Aluminum. Cost me about $5 and an hour of work. Not the most beautiful but better than the pegs.

Hanger looks good. Totally understand where you are coming from? Though $500 headlight on $1000 bike is the type of stupid stuff I love to do.

I kind of want to offer you $2000 for this so I can put on a Motodemic and a Shoei FM-2 fairing.

After the tires/tank/paint/and all the extras, I would say I have about 2k in it.
I would not take 2k for it.

Also have a full set of spare wheels with street tires.

Was it a salvage bike? Why install those Chinese tires? The headlight needs to go. Price is right if it rides in a straight line.

Actually I like the looks of the headlight, tires, and exhaust hanger. They all go together. I think it should look like someting that was cobbled together from parts found in the desert after an apocalypse. Mad Max's car didn't look like a Ferrari. Would I have it as my only bike no, but a toy, hell yah!

Clear title.

Tire are Continental TKC 80. Conti tires are top notch and they are made in Germany.

Definitely would not have it as my only bike either.
Like I said, it was a cheap build of a cheap bike.

The tires were probably the most expensive thing I bought.

I bought three different headlights and this was the only one that looked the part.
Might still switch it over to a round headlight. I prefer the round.

I have the FZ1N headlight on my other bike and used a CB1000R headlight on my last build.
