I see that the upper Midwest is having yet another snow storm.

And I see temps in the teens in Montana.

Did you guys forget to pay the heating bill up there or something?

It feels that way. We got back from Oklahoma, where the temps were about perfect all week, 70s, hit a cold front in Nebraska that dropped us 23 degrees in 10 minutes. Then oddly enough enough the next day drove through that, got home to sunny and 60s, followed by 45 mph winds yesterday and in the 30s. It's 27 here this morning.

I thought our new puppy might have to wait until December to see snow, but we got a little bit on Saturday.

In the last 24 hours I've had three facebook friends post photos of three different locations all across Wyoming that got more snow. Trail Ridge Road in RMNP was closed due to snow. So much for the first day of summer, we've had the heater on the last two nights because it's getting down to the 30s and low 40s.

Montana... I've got a cousin up around Ovando. I was up there once a few decades ago in mid-July. The weather was fine then :-)

The ongoing IBR has had riders impacted by snow and ice. Once guy was trapped on the Beartooth Pass after making it down to the west side gate to find it locked, and no way around.
