Lycoming engine motorcycle

Friend who works down the road from me at Lycoming engines sent this to me. the engineering is staggering. Although those engines arent exactly rev happy.

It looks very cool. But headers right under your hand must be uncomfortable. How does this thing even turn?

That is a work of engineering art. No practicality whatsoever, but it sure looks cool and makes a statement just motoring around.

A concept that is barely rideable. Was a bit let down, was getting kinda excited for a bit there when the engine rolled out I like the murdered out helmet, goes with the whole mood of the thing.

Jay Leno would buy it!

File, once again under the category, just because you can, doesn't mean you should...

Who pays for these crazy ideas??

Well that engine used is around 30k. Assuming it’s new based on the rest of the build.

Can you imagine the maintenance intervals that are going to be required to service the wheel suspension and drive parts. But I’ll bet you what!? Jay Leno is going to get one. And I would too if I weren’t a non-gazillionaire. The dang thing is cool, and it sounds so much like World War II it’s just cool. Why do something like that? No good reason except you can. The only thing that would be cooler would be a radial aircraft engine.
