Talking What did you do to your motorcycle today? (non-FZ)

A new place to talk about our other bikes. What did you work on/fix/improve/adjust?
I'll start.

Started taking off the old crappy/beat up Hotbodies bodywork from my R6 track bike.
I still cant ride, but trying to use my arm as much as I can to keep loosening up the muscles in my shoulder after my collar bone surgery.

Waiting for my new Armour Bodies stuff from my painter.

He sent me a teaser pic yesterday.

Graphics look good and also will help you make sure you can find your bike!
All I did to my bike today is look at it and make Vroom Vroom noises.

Changed the chain and sprockets, changed the oil, loaded it into the back of the truck to take it to Tennessee for the labor day weekend. The motard that is.

Last night I checked over my Ducati, so I can load it in the trailer this weekend and be ready for a track day at COTA next weekend. I'm nervous and excited about it all in the same time.

No. I bought my buddy's R6 that I track ride with for $1,900! He's the guy that bought Lee's (sportryder) Gixxer.

My painter said he and the graffix guy dont like how big the rear decals are on the tail, so they are getting some smaller ones made so as to not cover up so much of the purdy red.

So it'll be another week or so. Fine by me.

Flushed out brake fluid, cleaned out gunky master cylinder, and bled brake. Changed transmission oil, and used a copper washer on drain plug. Oh, did a compression test, and replace spark plugs. This was on my 1974 RD350.

I apparently missed you getting an R1 Brad

I put new Pilot Road 4's on the FJR, I thought the first set was great. I have a new FJR battery arriving today that I'll put in tomorrow.

Just a few weeks ago. I had another '02 just like it years ago that I put a lot of miles on. I missed it and found it relatively comfortable for a superbike.

Found this one with only 13,xxx miles for a good price.

Replaced Daytona front brake pads with DP HH+. Stock were sintered but pathetic. Felt wooden with cruiser like braking force. The DPs are not even bedded in and already feel twice better.

Nice new fizzy pandru.

I'd love to test it out one day. You can ride any of my bikes in return.

Deal, I'm hoping to have it fully broken in within a month or so. I've already put 240 miles on it since last night. Feels like a supermoto with massive torque!

Loved that bike! That was my very first street bike back in 86, after only riding dirt bikes as a teenager, years earlier.

Nice looking 09 pandru!

Got the Amazon Yuasa battery in the FJR yesterday and changed the oil in it, it should be ready for a 5000mi trip. Which is good since that is what I plan to do in 5 days.
