If you only watched the MotoGP race, you missed out on absolute thrillers in Moto3 and the last few laps of Moto2

It was reported that after Pol Espargaro's horrible warm-up crash he had no feeling in his arms or legs until after he made it to the hospital and they started some tests. What a horrible and scary moment that must have been. Doctors say he was -very- lucky with a badly bruised and inflamed spinal cord. Stuff like this is a reminder how freakin' dangerous this sport can be, even with all the safety advances.

If you haven't yet, stop what you're doing, and watch the race!

JLo won (probably while giving Ducati the middle finger), MM increased his already insurmountable championship lead, and the Yamahas still suck.

On a side note. Next year will be very interesting in the Repsol garage. Can JLo handle being 2nd fiddle knowing he can win consistently, and can MM handle having a teammate that he knows has a legitimate chance to beat him on any given week.

Can't say that Marc didn't try! Those Ducatis are beasts on these fast tracks. Honda trimmed their top speed deficit vs the Ducs from 7-8 kmh last year to 3-4 kmh this year, but still adds up on those long straights. Lorenzo and Marquez are machines. Cal and Rins had good showings too.

If Lorenzo adapts well to the Honda, they will have a very strong team next year.

Interesting that new gas tank actually made that much of a difference for J-Lo to move about.

I think it's more that there is some flatter surface area at the rear of the tank so he can hold on easier and isn't getting fatigued as quickly.
I found it interesting to hear the announcers talking about the Maniac leaving the team and being frustrated he wasn't getting all the new parts, and their response was, well you're leaving so tough. Meanwhile in the same FP3 broadcast George is nitpicking the ergos at the rear of the seat with his crew member and they are silent.

Apology to Jorge, I thought he might mail it in and enjoy the robust Ducati deposits this year. Whatever modification they found turned on the confidence and some kick ass. Some bump and run and a big FU on the way out should make the repsol garage s nice friendly place next year.

Rossi is wondering why he didn't get a nice new ergo friendly tank ?

Yamahajakster444 and I shared new guy opinions and beers, we wanted Vinales and Zarco and about 4 others to make a statement this year. I hope they are getting full support in the big shadow of the greats, domination is boring.

That's quite an understatement.

The acceleration difference between the Ducati and the Honda is quite apparent. Jorge could even get a corner wrong and still beat Marc to the next one.

Fantastic race!

Marquez Little Brother had a brain fade in the last corner of Moto2 and sent it to the gravel fighting for 3rd! He is well and truly out of the championship now. That was a great race, I was so hoping Oli would get the win, but he fought hard for the second place.

Moto 3 was as always a great race. Martin coming in 3rd with a broken wrist after an operation was a heroic effort. A bit of pain killers and adrenalin can do wonders!

Need to give jlo more credit than just the Duc, in this race you could clearly see the HRC not falling back in the straights, or right out of corners like it was before, it was right there... Also, MM beat dovi no problem

The Honda's engine, chassis and electronics definitely have drive out of the corners, but after a couple hundred feet, the Duc's power just keeps pulling in 4th, 5th and 6th. Maybe aero too?

Great race, couldn’t be happier for Lorenzo to make such a strong comeback! Being 14th in the championship at LeMans, getting his final upgrades/fuel tank, and now 3rd position in the championship; what a race!

No "myths" dispelled after Lorenzo has finally gritted out 2 races, that doesn't offset years of falling apart without a lead to runaway with. That said, he has made these last two races very entertaining! It looks like he maybe finally found out how to ride the Duc, if he keeps it up, I'll be a little bummed he's not staying on it for next year.
This last one in Austria was looking to be a snooze fest with Marc running away, and just a few little groupings throughout. But Jorge had a strategy and executed excellently! He also did a great job adjusting to Marc's block pass. Good racing there!

That doesn't include sponsor $ though right? + that number and I'd really like to see the total!

Seriously, they risk their lives every practice and race, very well earned.
