how to tell if ecu was flashed

I bought a 2013 fz1 it is my 3rd. an 04 and an 06 now a 2013. I was told the ecu was flashed because the fans come on at 199 - or 200 degrees

This applies if Ivan flashed it. Check your ecu. If it is engraved "FUOX" on the back, then you can remove the exup servo.... if the "X" is missing, then you can send it in to him and upgrade it at no cost except shipping.

or if vcyclenut he will have signed and #ed it. But yeah if the fans are coming on that early it was changed in a flash.

Does it have a power commander?

No power commander shorty carbon fiber exhaust eup was removed I will check the ecu tomorrow

nope, no markings on the ECU at all. But the fans kick on at 199

2013 FZ1 Delkevic Carbon fiber shorty slip on, Graves plates ais blocked off and removed and the exup all removed and the servo mod so no code ECU Flashed, Gutted cat, adjustable blue levers, dual usb ports, led's all over, integrated tail light in white, K-N, frame plugs, Blue swing arm spools, Blue oil cap and clutch wire adjuster and blue top for the front master cylinder. Corbin rear with carbon Fiber oval back rest. H4's both sides

Perhaps the guy had it worked on at a local dyno shop, some have the flash tube cables and can do some things.

they do not know they just said they suspect it was flashed due to the fans going on at 199
