Full TRC Installed and...

The center stand fits. I took the rubber stopper off of the stand and put it on the Yosh place for it. I'm posting this because I've seen quite a few conflicting post's about it.

I left the center stand on the whole time, installed it using the side stand. Good thing I ordered bike stands....sigh.

Biggest pain in the rear was getting the new gaskets to stay put while I positioned the pipe and tightened the plastic pieces up.

How does it sound? Run? No idea, thanks to Columbus day I won't have a brain for a few more days.

Need to clean headers? I used Kaboom tub and tile cleaner and a green scotchbrite pad. Didnt bother to polish.

Oh man. That looks way better on the pipes. I might have to pull mine off and give it the same treatment. With a polish afterward of course.

Looks great! Looks even better with that pesky center stand off.

Function > form. It's too handy to remove it. You'll scrape the pegs before the center stand, and the weight difference is negligible. We're talking about a 150hp literbike after all.

I find my rear stand more handy. never ran into an instance where i needed the center stand outside of a work shop. Considering the Fz is one of the few bikes with one, others must feel the same way...

Also with stoppies it slams down on the ground... which you will find out if and when you get your brakes sorted

I use mine a lot. It's helpful on hot parking lots, even though the side stand has a big foot, it can still sink more than it being on the center stand. Plus when parking near cars in general. I'd rather have a ding from a door than some idiot pushing it off the stand with their door, I've seen it happen. Can't trust people these days. Something about parking lots makes people lose their common sense.

Rules > function in my case. Some track day orgs won't let you run with a centerstand (one even wouldn't let me run with a kickstand).

Since my FZ1 doesn't see touring duty (my VFR gets that nod), I removed it because doing the on/off dance was pretty annoying.

wow, great results with the headers! I will have to give that a try!

I have the same slip on and it sounds great. Even better without the baffle but too loud for my taste

Yep, well said. The 06 I bought from Daryl doesnt have one. Maybe lighter but I cant feel ANY difference. Wish I had one to put on it.
