Ok Guys. A little help here please. How the heck do I get Dek's PCIII .djm map file uploaded? It doesn't work like pix uploads and I've tried copying and pasting and that doesn't work. What's the deal?

The new pipe looks sweet. Have you done a "compare" in the PC software between Dek's Map and the stock map to see where the differences are?

Looks like quite a bit added in the midrange and quite a bit subtracted from the top end...

Here is a link to the map so you can download it until I get around to setting up the PCIIIMaps webpage.

right click and select "save link as" and remember to say a big thank you to Jim.

According to Yamaha, ALL PCIII applications require the disconnect of the 02 sensor. Otherwise, the ECU will continue to read it and confuse the PCIII overide programming.

Where is the 02 Sensor? How do I disconnect it? Will disconnecting it have any other impact on the bike? Error codes etc?

Thanks

The connector to disconnect is under the gas tank on the left side. Find the 02 sensor protruding from the left side of the header collector under the motor. Follow the 02 connector wire up the side of the bike/motor up to under the gas tank and you'll see which connector to disconnect. Tape the ends to prevent moisture intrusion and just leave them setting where you disconnect. Use ty wraps if you want so they don't move around, but isn't really necessary. No problems, no error codes....
