Quoting a DA is kinda ricey. But if it makes you feel good...

I am starting to question some DA stuff since i am at 4000ft right now (Fallon, NV)(actual and not calculated) and vehicles are running identical times with same mods as we do in Florida when our DA is less than 1/3rd what you are quoting.

I wouldn't get to excited about that as you aren't gonna see that kinda ET/MPH as the PC says you should unless you weigh less than 100lbs and the planets align...

Here is a vid of my of my 3rd pass
60'--1.74
330--4.518
1/8 ET--6.75
1/8 MPH--109.71
1/4 ET--10.39

You are running extremely well but bikes with 135rwhp run 131-134mph in flat Florida as well.

Bike with 150rwhp run 138-142mph. But this is all dependent on the weight of the rider as well.

New 1000SS bikes MPH better but they weigh alot less than the FZ.

Anyways keep kicking butt!

I'm 180 in shorts and I can keep the frt end down all the way through 1st with 15-45.

I took my 06 to the 1/8 mi. for the first time last night. The bike is stock except for a 16t front sprocket. My best run was a 7.07 @ 102mph, 1.76 60'.

Nice! 1.76 with no strap or lowering is a very nice start!

Thanks, I have a little practice though. I've made around 100 runs at this track over the past couple years with my gen 1. The best time I ever got on the '01 was a 7 flat at 102 with the front strapped, slip-on & jet kit. So I tied my best run out of 100 or so with my modded '01 on my 3rd run on the stock '06. I also had one run where I hit 104 mph - never got above 102 on the '01.

Nice Jlewis- only a 30shot though? That is a very good amount of MPH pick up for the size of shot. We usually see 10mph for a 40shot closer to sea level.

Congrats!

Well gnd111 is the man and smokey sucks. I only ran a 10.77 tonight and I can't get anymore out of it. I found about 5k worked well to launch at. I really thought it would run what my 954 did around 10.30's. It is my fault, I can't get it to leave the hole any harder and I tried everything I could think of. I didn't strap it but I was not having too many wheelie problems either. The 954 just had a lot of bottom end torque compared to the FZ and it was lowered. I had a 1.77 60 ft but the 954 would put down a 1.67 but the FZ feels just as fast, I am frustrated and pissed off right now. You guys that run faster then I did, hats off to you.

I didn't represent the FZ well tonight but I did get a guy on his gixxer 1000 laughed at by his buddies for getting beat by a FZ. Even the guy at the gate asked if I was going to race my bike and when I told him yes, he gave me the I wouldn't bother look. Every bike at Fayetteville Motorsport park is stretched and maybe once in awhile you will just see one just lowered, so the FZ at stock height and wheel base stuck out pretty well. I think I might have surprised some, when they have trouble getting rid of the FZ at mid track.
