Good Pop Song

As a music lover, I really appreciate a catchy tune. 35 millions views can't be wrong.

I think the volume was on mute for a vast majority of those views.

Edit- i have now spiraled down the youtube suggested video worm hole. The dance moves are mesmerizing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RKMvr2dd7U

But the Voice was awesome as well.
But most of the videos are ~2005.
There is a live 2015 video, her voice lost a little something, and the choreography is more traditional crap.

Being a drummer, I can't stand to listen to computerized drum tracks. It makes my skin crawl.

The bliss of being a non-musician

On the other hand, what for most people driving over an old trellis bridge is a nice view of old ironworks, for me is an instant barrage of beam loads, bending moments, deflection equations, the shear strength of mild steel, Poisson's ratio . . .

Drop a circuit board in my lap and it's off to Neverland. (No, not that one, you slimy bastage, the other one, with Tink)

But this song is a great tune and it's a nice video.

I was sucked into the same vortex.

The song was catchy but sounded strangely (for it being a French singer) like K-pop (Korean). I guess it's a European thing. The song, however, wasn't really the main feature but the singer.

That's cool. I think about that stuff, too; and I'm not even an engineer.

My uncle is, though, and I spent a lot of time working with him growing up and all the terminology and concepts, I think, rubbed off.

I suspect lip sinc. with the help of pro tools and computer generated 'band'.

But if I hear this song on the radio I'll immediately think of her performance.

I'm disgusted by the blatant misogynistic objectification of those poor girls.
