Took the FJR for a spin the other day.... hard not to when it was almost 90 degrees out.

The more I ride the FJR, the more I like it. Maybe I'm getting old...

"Mature" - is not an age, it's a state of mind.

I rode my Gen II twice in the first year I owned my first FJR, so I traded the FZ for a second FJR, as I plan on keeping them for a very long time...

Changed the crank case oil on my 300xc and swapped out a metering rod on this lectron. These things are really nifty.

Not mine but the one I take care of that’s stored in my garage. Fixed some cracked plastic, redid the seat, gave her a good polishing and new go fast stickers. Damn good condition for a 2003 250sx

Yesterday was an unusually warm 70 degrees here. My mom was here for Thanksgiving, she normally hates bikes, thinks they are dangerous. But about every 12 years she wants to go for a ride Yesterday was the day, we had a nice ride and she had fun.

And today I took the FJR Christmas shopping, rode it yesterday too, pretty amazing to ride 3 days in a row in nice weather here this time of year.

I also rode it to a funeral visitation for a coworker that died much too young of breast cancer, she was a rider also and would ride to work until she started chemo.

Good on you Brad, the snowman cometh. And buy Mom some gloves in case she slips off. Sorry about your lady friend, those losses are hard to make sense of.

Loaded the XR650 into the back of my brothers pickup. I have given it to him, he's taking it back to Florida with him. He came up for Thanksgiving, took one ride and said, " I need to get another one." He hasn't ridden in 25 some years. Well, he's back on a bike, hopefully for good.

My license is probably better off without it, but damn what a fun bike.

Unfortunately I only put about 500km's on it this season so couldn't justify keeping it.
