oh and i made some block off plates, and did some vinyl experimentation on the bike, cut half the windshield, until the machine went out

Pulled the exup valve this morning. Bike is an '03 I just purchased last week with 7400 miles on it.

After all the threads mentioning broken bolts and the ensuing heartaches I was a bit leary, but it came apart easy as pie. It was so clean I almost didn't want to put any anti-sieze on the shaft but I bowed to the collective wisdom of the board and did. Got it back together and checked operation and adjustment, everyhting was spot on.

In the next couple weeks I'll be doing a jet kit, slip on, and carb sync. Hopefully it will go as smoothly!
