Thanks. Been wanting an FJR1300 since they came out 18(?) years ago.
Glad to have one with factory cruise, heated grips and all the other goodies. 👍

I tend to keep my bikes for quite a while, so my inventory turns don't quite equal others. I keep them until something else tickles my fancy.

2003 FZ1: purchased new in 2004, kept until 2012.

2009 FZ1 (still own): Purchased new in 2012 as leftover, traded 2003 FZ1 to purchase.

2013 R1 (still own): Purchased in 2014.

The rest of the garage consists on Can-Am, Kawasaki and Polaris.

Short attention span I guess. Although I had a V-Max for 15 years, a Goldwing for 13 years and kept my FZ1 about 8 years...

I have owned four. Each time I have never set out to buy a Yamaha, but my needs/wants match up with Yamaha products most of the time compared to other manufacturers.

I bleed blue for sure, Bled red a couple of times. Started off with an 86 Fazer, then 89 Fj to a 90 FZR 1000. Then jumped on the CBR 900RR bandwagon for a couple of years. Then back to blue with a blue 01 FZ1, which brought me to FZ1OA, a place I love!. Sold FZ1 for a CBR1000RR, then grabbed a gorgeous 03 Silver FZ1 and then sold and got a FJR1300. Had 8 Yamaha ATV's and currently SXS. Geez I think I may have a problem!

I think of myself as a suzuki guy. But I've had more yamahas than anything else. The 2 Suzukis I did own I had each for about 20 years.

81 "Katana" pro street bike.
2000 hayabusa, bought from first owner 3 months old and sold about a year ago.

Kawasakis...First bike was a GPz750 brand new, and I've had a couple running 750 triples, several more that weren't, including presently. i also have an 82 ELR in a box that I bought last fall.

Hondas, had a V65 magna, and a 75 400 supersport, and a couple dirt bikes.

yamahas... 2 RZ 350s, one I presently own, 89 FZR 1000, had for 10 years, sold with 60k mi. 07 FZ1 presently, and a YZ250FX.

And a Yamaha AV receiver.

Honda guy here, that was what I had growing up.
First Yamaha was the FZ1, then R1's.

Pretty hardcore Yamaha guy if you bought a FZ700 instead of a GSXR750 in 86.
