Sloan's Yamaha of Murfreesboro TN | Mid-State in Cookeville TN
Went for a ride today and about half way thru my Cruise Control light started flashing and wouldn't engage. I have about 5 months left on my YES so need to get the bike in and looked at.
Has anyone had any experience and would recommend one of these two Dealerships for Service work? Sloan's Yamaha of Murfreesboro TN Mid-State in Cookeville TN

Don't have any service experience with either. I have bought 2 used bikes privately from a great salesman from Sloan's.
What bike has the Cruise Control? Most modern bikes should have it by now.

I bought my FZ1 in Cookeville and although I felt very good about the dealership, that was 16 years ago and I doubt if anyone that was there then is still there now. So ignore this post.

Will be taking '12 Tuono to Sloans for valve adjustment. Sounded professional enough over phone. Been to Tri State to just check out new hardware. Decent selection, clean store.
Best wishes.

I've never had service at Sloan's but all of my other encounters with them have been excellent.

Any reason you're not taking it to Mid-State in Cookeville since they are closer to Rockwood?

Sloan's was recommended from the Aprilia Forum. Haven't been out to Mid-State. Suppose its worth checking out. Sloan's was an Ape dealer at one time so reckon they knew what they were doin with the V4 motor.

Thanks for the input. I need to verify my YES, can't remember if it was good thru this Sep or ended last Sep. Hopefully it's still good as I'm a bit tapped out on funds from buying a house.

Went to Mid-State in Cookeville. Good guys, I'd use them again if I had to. The only issue I had with them and the repair was that they did not re fasten a couple of the plastic wire holder strap thingies. Me being me I went over it with a fine tooth comb when I got it home and found them not fastened and took care of them.
