2008 Frame feeler

I recently got t-boned on my 08 fz1. The forks took the brunt of the impact and are toast. The bike got knocked over on the right side and when it landed on the rear set, it cracked the frame at the rear set mount. I pulled the front end off the other day and still need to mic the steering head to make sure its still round, although at first inspection it looks good. because of the damage the insurance totaled it, so it will have a salvage title if it stays on the road. I'm parting out some of it and was wondering if there might be any interest in the frame that will have a salvage title.

I was thinking of something like $100 plus shipping. For that I will weld the rear set mount. If no ones interested, it will go to the junk yard.

Regards,

tim

No takers. It's off to the junk yard then.

Thanks fellas. Nothing broken. I was able to get my left leg out of the way before being hit, so I still have that.

Right now I have:

a set of ignition, seat latch and gas cap with 2 keys
a red tail section thats in really nice shape
stock front seat
fender eliminator kit
full wiring harness (once the motor is completely pulled)
odds and ends like throttle tube and control blocks for the bars, stock bars

There will be more, but I haven't had time to completely strip the old bike. once i figure out how to post pics, you'll be able to see the stuff. (I'm not very computer smart so that may take a while)

I'm keeping the engine (71k miles), ECU, coils, chain and sprockets and some other parts for spares, since i bought another fizzer.

ride safe!
