Post your trackday pics!

Let's see your trackday pictures! Hopefully this thread will become a one-stop shop for pics of FZ1s tearing up the racetrack. I see trackday pics scattered across the forum - let's consolidate 'em!

I'll start with a pic of me on my very stock '09 (only "mod" is a set of BT016s) at Miller Motorsports Park earlier this month:

Here's one from last year. Those stock handlebars were torture.

Lower bars help a lot. A great track surface helps a lot, too.

Yah, not bad for a 28 horsepower machine considering I'm passing an NSR250 right there!

I almost did the same thing with an old TL knee drag pic from Willow, but I resisted and kept with the FZ theme.

My one and only track day was at Eagles Canyon, it was in my old Civic Si though It was a blast! If it wasn't for the fact that at the time the Civic was my only ride I probably would have done several more track days. Now that I have the FZ I may have to find some leathers and head back up there.

Oh, the Si was a hoot! It was fun catching much more powerful cars in the corners, not so fun when those long straights would come up and they would just power off into the distance.

One problem... It was my first track day anywhere, and I cooked the brakes and rotors. I had no spares with me so was forced to find a tire/brake shop late on a Saturday afternoon before I could make the 3 hour drive back home. That was an expensive lesson. Still the most fun I have ever had in a car though.

LOOSER!

My knees have springs in them: every time one touches down it springs right up off the pavement.

Why anyone would want their knee to touch down is beyond me. I've touched toe and even ankle and that was plenty enough to give me a thrill.

It provides a reference point when you are cornering at extreme limits. It can also help save a front end loss of traction. Been there done that. Turn 2 Sears pt. IMO it serves zero purpose on the street. Just bragging rights.
