Bumping this thread.

Also close to having title in-hand since loan is almost paid off so hopefully this might spark some interest to anyone who might be interested but doesnt want to deal with the bank.

It is really beautiful. As an older guy, the boy racer stuff is what turns me off though - flashing and gutting cats.

I respect that opinion and understand that not all mods are going to fit everyone. But racing is not what turned me on to the modifications in the first place. I think the flash really did change the bike in a positive way. The power delivery feels so much smoother and even some of the high frequency vibration was reduced that I noticed from the longer highway rides.

I consider myself and old guy as well

The gen2 is almost unrideable unless you flash the ecu. The fuel cut and power restrictions are asinine.

And you can try and post it on the Facebook page as it gets a little more travel.

But you may need to adjust your price a bit.

Thanks I appreciate the feedback and I wanted to post here to make sure members who appreciate this bike have a look first before going onto the local craigs list.

No the Fz1 specific Facebook groups. There are three of them. With lots of traffic. A 2014 just sold not too far from where you’re located on there last week

Those are really just mods to improve the general rideability of the bike.

I have the white 2012 version and have similar mods except stock exhaust. These mods are to improve the ridability of the bike as said above. I learned the hard way after riding the Tail of the Dragon that a flash is required to smooth out the throttle.

In my view the bike was dangerous to ride aggressively without the flash. I would have sold mine if Ivan hadn't invented the FCE.
