Keytickler's blue 2002 FZ1

Sad to do this, but I'm moving and can't keep my FZ at the new home.

I'm the original owner of this faster blue Gen 1 with only 35,500 miles. It's in good condition, clean, with fresh oil and filter and Pilot Road tires with plenty of tread left. It has been garage kept. This bike runs and rides beautifully, and has been bulletproof.

Safety upgrades:

Fiamm highway blaster low tone horn
Kiran headlight modulator
Back OFF brake light flasher
Yamaha frame sliders

Performance upgrades:

Ivan's slip on jet kit
Pyramid hugger
Traxxion Dynamics suspension upgrade front and rear

Comfort upgrades:

New gel grips
Rifle 20: windscreen along with the stock windscreen
Ventura luggage system with racks and luggage.

Bling upgrades:

Logo sprocket cover
Logo front brake fluid reservoir cover
Foot pegs

The bike has a ding on the left side of the tank, and scratches on the left side of the rear cowl. I have a new rear cowl I never installed that you can have.

There is a pigtail installed for a Battery Tender and a Ram mount on the handlebar for a GPS or phone.

This bike is bulletproof and runs beautifully.

Here is the ad I just posted on Craigslist:

https://chicago.craigslist.org/nch/mcy/6916846111.html

I was unsuccessful uploading the photos here--some message about a missing security token with my upload. Photos are on the Craigslist ad.

Price is $2975. Come and get it to add to your stable.

Sounds like you bought the wrong house!

Sorry to see you leave the family of FZ1 owners, but GLWS.

I'd more accurately describe this as a hiatus. Time will tell. I took the FZ out for a ride today and it still makes me smile. The bike runs flawlessly.

I have a bike in the garage. And I just had spine surgery five days ago. Ouch!

If it weren’t for that, I would love to correct my mistake of selling big blue and then re-living all those thrills and memories. And I would have the utmost confidence this was a well-cared-for bike.

That is a great looking bike. The additions you put on are perfect IMHO. Just the right things without making the bike too custom looking.

Good luck with the sale. If I needed a bike, I'd pay you asking price and fly up in an instant.

That bike is part of the FZ1OA original legend series, we all had awesome variations and enjoyed them a lot. Good luck with the move KT, further away from live ammo suggested.
Great bike at a good price.

No, Fitty. I sold it this spring. It was a fun bike to ride, and despite my hesitance about getting Italian wheels, I had no problems with it at all.

Impressive memory!!

Right on, 'boot!

You and I had lunch together on my first group ride on my first Gap rally. We are all legends in our minds.

Tell all of our friends and neighbors.

Thanks killer for the updated link. I'll renew the link again this week. I'll put up the link to the Cycletrader ad when it's available.

I'll entertain an OBO for this great bike. I'm sad to have to sell it, but I can't keep it at my new residence.
