I think he’s hated pretty much everywhere outside of philly.

Nobody is currently more hated than closer Edwin Diaz is hated by the Mets. 4 Earned runs in the 9th of what was a tied game against the Phillies.
Some of the Mets fans were calling for Jerry Seinfeld to come into the game. He had been there to throw out the first pitch. A possible strike over the lower corner of the plate.

DECOMMISSION THE UMPIRE!!!

Robot umpiring (at least for calling balls and strikes) is here at last!

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb...cid=spartanntp

From now on, when you don't like the call, you can e-mail Microsoft and give them a piece of your mind!

I don't think it will be too long before we use robots to study and decide instant replays, too, because they can discern time and distance in micro units.

Eventually, the people currently called "umpires" will be called "Service Techs," who are only there to maintain and operate the Umpire Robots. (To overcome resistance from the union, the former umpires will get all you can eat free hot dogs during the game).

Play ball!! (Er, I mean, initiate program!)

I can't wait for the first all robot game. Players umpires and managers will all look like Himey

I'm watching the Dodgers and the Red Sox on ESPN.

The strike zone they show looks to be from below the knees to just above the belt.

Is this because of the camera angle? Maybe lens compression (Haha).

With no one noticing, the Gmen are 12-2 in July. Just back from a great road trip, they faced the Mets last night. Bum went 9 innings, gave up a single run.

Game went 16. Mets went up 2-1, and then Gmen scored two in the bottom to win it.

They are now 2.5 back in the WC.

This has to be causing headaches in the front office. Sell? Buy?

Yeah, there were many innings of 0's on that box score. Was wondering what the record is.
The Mets are a very bad gauge for an opponents strength, they always find a way to lose. The NL Central has lost it's stranglehold on the wild card spots. It will be a sprint at the end of the season. Whatever teams haven't been devastated by Summer heat and can get their bullpen to work will take over. I don't think the Brewers will lose their spot, but I don't see the Giants going from below .500 as other teams improve. The Nationals have put themselves in a good spot.

The most impressive part of the last road trip was taking four in a row from Colorado.(including a double header) Coors field is a place that they had been something like 5–23. Also taking 2/3 from Brewers was impressive.

Agreed the Mets are bad. But winning games like this counts! Also, it’s made watching the games actually enjoyable.

I uh...Not sure what to say.

In the bottom of the tenth in a 0-0 game with a runner on first and two outs Sandoval pops up to shallow left and the runner scores when the ball is dropped.

Are you kidding me?!?!

Lol. Pretty sure I’ve never seen that before!

Gmen are back from being 12 under 500 to being even.

If nothing else it’s interesting!!

2 out of 3 against the Brewers is good.
The Phillies are playing musical chairs with pitchers again. Got a Lefty back in the rotation and a Bullpen guy that was basically #41 on a 40 man roster. At least they are trying to get that end of the game tightened up with no groundbreaking commitments.
If they can win the rubber match with the Pirates take 2 from the ailing Tigers, they can face the Braves with a head of Steam.

Come from behind win in the 8th with 3 runs to beat cubbies.

Gmen over .500 for first time in ages. 16 wins in 19 games. I’ll take it!

LS, they will see your boys next week!

PS. Pablo is clutch. Another hit from an impossible pitch to hit.

Quazz, thanks for Pillar. He’s on fire. I think he leads the Gmen in RBIs.

A lead off triple in the 15th inning for your team is a good thing right?
Okay that became the fifth run of the game.

Sounds about right.

I’m currently watching the Gmen blow a 2 run lead and now going into another extra inning game. Holy fvck.

Gaaaaahhhh! Pillar missed a walk off bomb by 6 inches.

Another walk off win in extra innings. This time to beat cubs. The Panda was 0-5 and then golfed a waaay low pitch into the bleachers.

Gmen 17-3 now. First time since 2001. This is nuts.

Damn Yankees. Twins have been on just a little bit of a down run lately, overall been a great season. Would have been a good football score.

It was a good game, just the wrong team won
And last night too, could be a football score. But wrong outcome again. Twins are 3-7 the last 10. Not a good sign for the second half of the season.
