Probably the best race of the year so far!

Lorenzo did the same thing at Ducati, taking a while to dial things in. Next year will tell if he's still got it or not.

They need to show more of this on bike cam action during races, especially when there's a close call, lots of passing... the far away and helicopter shots don't show enough details....

Lorenzo and Iannone haven't finished top-10 all year.... it's pathetic, they are wasting those bikes.

Having Lorenzo on the Honda will help make the Honda a much more rider friendly bike. At the moment only MM can ride it, Cal is struggling and said it is worse than the 2018 bike which Taka is doing well on. Give Jorge time.

As for Iannone. I don't know why he is still in the paddock. he has pissed off every employer, yet still gets a ride. I feel this is his last chance with Aprilia.

Cal likes last year's frame more. Regardless, every Honda is doing better than Jorge, who's on the same Honda that's leading the championship. It's just hard to feel bad for the guy that has an excuse for everything, while having one of the highest payrolls. Maybe he should have stuck with Ducati, sometimes the grass isn't always greener. Not to say he isn't a supremely talented rider, but the ability to adapt certainly isn't his strong suit.
That said, I feel like a factory rider that finishes out of the top 10, five consecutive races, should have to switch bikes with their satellite rider.

What are the odds that Marquez will jump ship to Ducati in the future? He said that he's interested in riding another MotoGP bike to prove he can win on something other than a Honda, but mentioned that it would be very difficult to give up his team that has become like family.

^MM isn’t going anywhere. He’s going to stay with Honda til the end of his “reign”. If he were to switch to another bike, and didn’t do as well, it’s solidify what a lot of people already think of him; that he can only win on one bike. He’s talented and smart. He knows who butters his bread.

I wonder if Jorge is waiting on Rossi to leave Yamaha, then make a return on that bike....and winning sometimes.

What a crash in MotoGP and both Rossi and Maverick taken out. Big bummer.

Moto3 was a crash race, last bike standing?

Yeah both races were crash-fests, but the moto3 finish was entertaining as hell. It didn't break my heart to see Rossi taken out even though he's on a Yamaha. Here' why:

Jorge Lorenzo
“Due to the fall I fractured both my T6 and T8 vertebrae. The injury does not allow me to race here in Assen or at the Sachsenring. Tomorrow morning I will fly to Lugano and do all the possible treatments to get ready to go to Brno.”

These guys want to race until they physically can't.

Jorge was very lucky after doing a pile driver on his head and neck in FP1. Also lucky Nakagami after being taken out by Rossi in a very fast crash. Good to see Vinales finally having some good results with Yamaha's first win in ages.

Moto2 race was exceptional. Alex marquez seems to be finally coming into his own past few races with some good race strategy. Taken out from lead in next to last lap sucks though.
