Here we go: a suspension bridge. And in this case the most heavily trafficked bridge in the US.

Nice pic, but the game is to post a picture with the current tag (a suspension bridge) and declare the next tag - something that most people would be able to find and take a picture of. The picture needs to be taken after the challenge is set.

No suspension bridges in Atlanta, I'm afraid..

Oh sorry. I have always been bad at reading the details. No suspension bridges anywhere close to me either.

The Pennybacker Bridge is a suspension bridge of through-arch design. I don't know where in Austin you are, but I think it's close enough to ride a motorcycle to! The closest traditional suspension bridge to you is probably the Regency Bridge on County Road 433 near San Saba, Texas.

BTW, the Regency Bridge in San Saba is an amazing story. If you're up for a 2-hour drive, you should definitely check it out. Built by hand, wood deck, etc.

Wow, I did not know there were any of those around anymore. I'll ride close enough by it on my way back from California to stop by for a pic. Thanks for the info. I have driven over the Pennybacker many times and never really thought about it. How embarrassing.

It's been a week - I propose we change to "a tall bridge over water".. I define tall as something that would kill you if you stepped off it..

It's an amazing bike. I have one in my garage; an 87 in those same colors. Bought by my dad in 88. I spent many a Saturday afternoon sitting on the back with him driving us up to Newcomb's Ranch. Amazing memories.

Very cool.

It was the smoothest bike I had owned until then. Silky smooth. The motor, the trans. Incredible. And 17" wheels!!!

That's an 87. I bought it brand new in 88. Took the next day off and went for a ride up the coast and back. Stopped tbere for a pic on the way back.

If this pic suffices (judges?), what's the next challenge Des?

Oh, god I hope the next challenge is a left-hand shot of a 1987 Honda Hurricane 1000 in Winterlake Blue with Atlanta Blue accents with stock pipes. Because I'm totally going to win that! LOL.

Executive decision - here's a bridge.

Next challenge - at the bank!
