2008 Ducati Hypermotard 1100S

This was the Ducshop owner's bike. It was used for all the development work for their parts. There is no better running Hyper anywhere.
It has all the high-end goodies.
'08 1100S with 20k miles and service performed less than 700 miles ago. Fresh belts fluids.
Upgrades:
Ohlins Rear shock revalved by the Ducshop
Ohlins Cartridge inserts in the Marzocchi forks by Ducshop
Ducati Racing cams
Evo Racing Tune by RPM
Full 2-1 Termi Exhaust
Duc Shop's custom open clutch cover
Duc Shop's lightened Flywheel
Duc Shop's velocity stacks (No more airbox-hello gates of hell sound at full throttle)
Plenty of extra Carbon Fiber
Ducati Comfort Seat (Can't find these anymore)
Woodcraft rear sets
Stainless brake lines
CRG Mirrors
GPR steering stabilizer

Parts and tuning alone are way over $6k.

The bad:
Needs tires, these are toast from the previous owner (64 yr old violin builder)
He also rode this to his shop where it sat outside in the sun, so the anodized oil filler cap and clutch spring hats have faded.
The front turn signals are chintzy, but replacing with the NRC fork tube mounted signals fixes that
The engine paint is flakey-like all the air-cooled Ducs of this vintage. If there was ever one worth pulling and re-doing, this is the one.

Priced accordingly to allow for the tires and turn signals that I would've added myself.

I'll take $6200 for it, which is a deal for the completely sorted package. Not even trying to make money on it, as I bought it to help out a friend.

It is remarkably comfortable. Upright with a very comfy seat. If your knees get tight, you can drape them over the frame sliders.

Wonger, if this virus thing wasn’t going around I think I’d be in Fayetteville Georgia tomorrow with dough in hand! Man, GLWS! Awesome scooter! If it is not gone by the time this crisis ends, may I have dibs on it pretty please with sugar on it?

One question though, because it has an open clutch, should I stop wearing my flip-flops when riding?

Just put some duct tape over the clutch basket and you should be good.

Oh, if we're post apocalyptic bidding, I'll see your masks and tp,then raise you with a hazmat suit and a gallon of high octane hand sanitizer.....

Seriously great looking bike, that's probably the only Duc I'd consider owning. I really should not stare at this one any more. I could be so stupid on this thing.
