It was quickly painted black with a sharpie. I still have the cover, but have reworked the seat for better comfort. It is now about 1 1/2 inches narrower down where it meets the frame, does not slope downward toward the front, and has a black marine-grade vinyl cover, with minimal stitching. No seams in the contact areas.

(note the large size of the top case is due to lens distortion. Not really as big as it looks. It's a Givi V46. Yes it still looks like a scooter trunk, but it's very functional. The bike's whole personality has now gone to function over form, a stark departure from its former self. )

Somebody has a serious Gold Fetish... Looks like he's in Beverly Hills.
Look at the RR behind him, dude looks like Justin Bieber. Anyone remember the pics of him on the Ducati with Nikes!

I remember when you were thinking of buying that bike Grommet and I must admit to being rather shocked.

Glad to see you have taken off all that bling and restored it to it's more natural state. Must be fun bike to ride.

So all that gold is just a vinyl sticker? Amazing what they can do these days.

When you know the gene pool has stopped worrying about survival and wandered off.
