Feeler: Possible sale of my 09 FZ1...

Thought i would never say this but i may be selling my FZ to buy an Aprilia Tuono Factory. Most of you have seen pics and know the bike so what im looking for is honest opinions on what i should sell it for. I cant list everything thats done to it because i would get carpal tunnel from typing. It has every imaginable bling item and some people havent seen. It does have high mileage at 45K but 40K of that was ridden by me and i have been very anal about maintenance. Few recent items that have been done. Front forks serviced, new chain and sprockets, valve adjustment, coolant flush, new plugs and injectors completely cleaned and rebuilt on flow bench with non-ethenol killing parts. Any help with pricing would be appreciated.
If i sell it i will also be selling all of my hoarded FZ parts seperately
Thanks for your help.

Would start with ads for comparable bikes in my area and then fall back to wholesale bb.

Mods are irrelevant to me unless very high quality suspension that's already set up for close to my weight. Mods nearly never pay back. Couple that with a nine year old bike with mileage and while you may get your price my guess is you'd wait a long time for the right buyer if selling as a package.

Personally would pull all the parts and advertise along with my "no dibs" policy

Good thing is i really dont need to sell the FZ...i probably wouldnt ride it much having the Tuono. That being said i wouldnt just give it away to get rid of it...mods are never worth anything if trading in at a dealer which i would never do but the money and effort i put into them means something to me and would be appreciated by someone. I look at mods with value when buying bikes because its actually extra money spent to enhance the look or performance.

You may look at mods adding extra value but a vast majority do not. Especially on a 10 year old bike with higher mileage.

You can look back through the classifieds at bikes with far more mods and ether they don’t sell because the owner doesn’t want to take the hit or they end up wisely parting the good bits off of it.

Depending on the asking price, I may have someone interested in Austin.

By next Tuesday I should know how much a 2007 with the same mileage is worth to the insurance company.

The best thing is i dont have to sell it so i have the time to wait for the “Right Person” or just keep it. Mods cost money and are certainly add value to the bike IMO. Almost every bike ive ever purchased has had mods done to it and im fine with them asking more to cover what they have spent within reason.

Oh that’s a deal then. I assumed you wanted 8k like some of the other guys in here wanted lol.

Even though if returned to stock you could get almost that plus 3k in accessories.

Not worth all the time and effort to part it. Im not hurting for money and would just soon let it go as-is.
I will make money selling all my extra parts too.
