Well holy goodness. That dont look good . I was just gonna limp it along till the tires got here cause the chain set arrived today but I may just tighten that chain up for the ride to the shop after seeing that thread ,

Only 7k miles on the sprocket and chain on my bike. I imagine my rear sprocket is so j'd out is cause is sat for so long and the heating and cooling of the steel and non use made it soft ? I dunno .

Regardless . Guess im tightening my chain tomorrow.

Yeah, there is that......................

I know he had a special on chain sets a bit back. Had I not already been setup I would've taken advantage of it.

Chain and sprockets is SUPER easy to do at home by yourself. Sprockets is a cake-walk, the only minor difficulty with the chain, is having patience to peen the master-link rivet. I assure you after a couple youtube videos you can do it easily.

Hooooly carp . Its like a whole new bike !! The handling is 100% different . Although I accidently got an angel ST front instead of the GT . Man the round profile makes the handling light as a feather . I had a hard time keeping it straight . You actually had to input on the old ass battlaxes to get it to turn cause the tires were so old and plateaued .

These angels you just slightly shift and you can feel the bike wanting to turn for you .

Old girl looks good with some new shoes and sprockets n chain. I really love the gen 1 fz . May not be the fastest bike on the planet but shes good enough for oldirtyrider.
