True but they have it down pat now. Not much gets through. If Mozart was born today he would be packing boxes at Amazon and playing to his cat in his basement on weekends.

If that isn't the truth... In music and film. I'm getting fed up with watching the same plot(and I use the term loosely) getting puked up on screen over and over. My assumption is that because there's so much money involved, the studios are reluctant to take a chance on any creative, fresh or controversial story lines. I blame greed, computers, focus groups and art by committee...(and this website - of course). Uhm.. so yeah - what he said....

There are plenty of independent films out there that break stride with mainstream Hollywood-ish entertainment. Netflix and Kodi Exodus are good sources to find these.

Not to hijack this thread(whatever it's about), but while we do use Netflix as our primary movie source, I hadn't heard of Kodi or Exodus. This article made it seem as though a lot of the libraries and media sources have gone the way of bit torrents of recent years(no longer available). If you have a chance, maybe you could give this a look and comment on it, as well as whether you think Exodus (& kodi?) is useful as a streaming movie/media source(as opposed to downloading media for later playback).

Thanks

Installing kodi isn't a big deal. The thread I referenced came up in my search on Exodus and was the only one I read that talked about the ongoing utility of those apps. The question is whether there remain any streaming libraries available through Exodus worth having, that haven't been either, rendered inaccessible or remain available only as a fragmented pay to view market requiring multiple subscriptions. If that turns out too be the situation, then I won't mess with it.
