Ignition dead

I put my carbs back on and now my ignition is dead. Also, best I remember, the gauges are supposed to sweep when the key is turned on but that isn't happening either. The fuel pump comes on then shuts off as normal. I disconnected all the connectors in the rubber shroud under the tank to pull the carbs, but they are all reconnected and I have had each of them apart looking for a bent or pushed out pin but did not see any problem with them. No fuses are blown either. Ideas anyone?

The gauges on a gen1 do not sweep. Something left unplugged?

Yep, little white connector under the fuel pump. Plugged it in and the bike fired right up.
I had in my mind the gauges were supposed to sweep when the key is turned on but I was wrong. Don't know what I was thinking about. Much appreciate the response.

That's the Gen II that does that.
