Marquez went into the 1st corner hot and ran wide like a few other riders but they never got within 5 feet of each other. Lorenzo whacked the throttle open too fast, left a nice 20' darkie on the asphalt and high sided. I hope he's not going to start whining like used to do a few years ago whenever someone passed him.

Some nice action between Dovi, Marq and Innone though. Not surprised the lack of post race comments on the board with Yamaha's very disappointing, crappiest season ever so far.

Troy Coarser agreed with Jorge, but this is all old news now anyway, Jorge and Marquez have already said they have talked on the phone and all is good. The media keep bringing this up when the riders have moved on.

Unlike Rossi who thrives of being the Queen of drama!

Kid is the real deal. Hyper-talented and a pleasant, happy and smiling demeanor that is a great face of the sport. Just imagine, 25 years old, top of your game, making millions of dollars doing something that you love. You could see the pure joy and emotion in his face on the podium.

Classy comment on parc-ferme interview that he wished that Dovi was there after a great battle and he deserved to be on the podium too.

Nice tweets from Dovi and Lorenzo sending well wishes. Hope the season will continue in this direction and close out on a positive note.

Sure we all know the MotoGP results but Moto 3 was A HELL OF A RACE and 1st and 2nd are separated by 1 point. Moto2 is also pretty close and it’s been a joy watching the 2 lower championships. Moto3 especially. Like damn it was good today. 125$ MotoGP pass was definitely worth it this year

2019 MotoGP is gonna be really good. ESPECIALLY if Yamaha can put out a good bike becaus Rossi still is a killer rider and Mav is too (although he still can’t pull Sunday magic like Rossi when the bike is giving issue)

It's going to be interesting to see how/if the playing field gets a little more level with the electronics package adjustments next year. Yamaha is leagues behind. Ducati would be winning this season if it weren't for Marquez keeping Honda relevant. Suzuki is making great strides. Aprilla and KTM??? Well, they sometimes finish a race.

Well Phillip Island weekend is over, 3 great races and a great sunny day for the race day. Friday and Saturday were cold and wet, so to have Sunday arvo sunny like that was awesome. I was wishing I had shorts by the end of the day and not thermals and jeans on. I don't remember a WARM sunny race day like that since 2010!!

Most of us dream of being able to attend Phillip Island, so most of us hate you

Now now, don't be like that! We had to haul across the infield after the race from Siberia to get to the podium on time. We did get there though.

I have some pics of riders at Siberia and turns 10-11, but not on this computer. will post them later.
