I pulled the trigger on a new jacket as a birthday present to myself and figured I would put a short opinion piece out in case anyone was considering the same Jacket. First off, this thing has some serious weight to it. I've had several dedicated leather riding jackets, including a Vanson, and I don't think any of them had the same heft as this one. Fortunately all that weight disappears once you actually put it on. It has a very straight cut to it, which works perfectly for me, and the size 4x fit my size 54 chest and broad shoulders perfectly. To say that it is stiff would be an understatement, but I can feel it breaking in nicely already. They certainly didn't skimp on the pockets. In fact it has a built in gun pocket and dual magazine pockets, for if that happens to be your thing. I like the fact that the leather has a matte finish to it. That's personal preference at work there, but I just prefer to not have the shine there. If I have one gripe, its that the collar is a bit rough. That will likely go away as it breaks in further, but for now it's still a bit annoying. I've been wearing it commuting back and forth from work in low to mid 30 degree temps, and with the liner in place, I haven't gotten cold in the least bit. One feature that I really like is that the zipper pulls have a type of spring tensioner on them that lock them in either the up or down position. Overall I'd say that it was $380 well spent.

I scooped up one of these used for my fist leather jacket a few years ago for $75. I loved it, but it was white and a PITA to keep clean. Overall a great jacket.

I chose the white to annoy my wife. She picks on me for not having enough color in my life, just basic black.

that little bit of white will be fine. Mine was ALL white. A magic eraser sponge will work wonders to keep it clean.
