Can't say for sure, as I don't ride when it gets into the 30's.

Schoeller Keprotec is indeed a kevlar-based product used in many gloves.

EG the Held Steves use Schoeller Keprotec in the stitching and palm slider.

Anybody know if anyone still makes this type of glove ?
I had a pair exactly like those except solid black. I think they were called high sides?
I bought them way back in 99 I think, when I first bought my 94 fzr. I just quit wearing them about 2 years ago when they developed a hole in the thumb from turning the throttle. I didn't use them exclusively but I thought they were pretty decent to have lasted that long. Maybe the leather deteriorated while sitting in the store?

Will was the jacket your talking about the one with all the patches sewn on to make it look like a race jacket?
My cousin had one and gave it to me after he quit riding, I never wore it because it was too big but the elbow padding in it did the same thing.
But on the other hand I bought a Joe rocket ballistic 2.0 , I think it was, at the same time I bought the gloves like the OP had. It's still going strong and I wear it in cooler weather because it has the zip in insulation.
The padding in the mesh jacket I referred too was pink and grey, while the padding in n my ballistic jacket is blue. They felt different and I have trouble believing that the padding in the mesh jacket was really ce rated. It definitely wasn't the same quality.

Great idea but still no luck.

So far The Held looks like the best fit. The deerskin gloves are way to much money and the Dianese are affordable but I need a gauntlet glove. Thanks for the help guys.

I gave up on JR anything a long time ago, as seems came undone, etc. Not surprised your JR gloves are falling apart after only 1 year.
I'm on my second pair of Held Steves. My first pair wasn't quite as good as the current ones in the link above. Best thing for me is they now offer 3 finger lengths in each size. I have long thin fingers. The fit is the best I've ever had. I've also had some Lee Parks, which weren't that great. Always turned my hands orange when they got wet too. The Aerostitch gauntlets are a good buy for the price too.

My personal faves are Held "Steves".
This is the answer you are looking for. I am still rocking my Steve II's. Not super cool wearing, but supremely comfortable and functional.

My search is over. Couldn't find any like my old Joe Rockets but I found the next best thing.
Klim Inversion Pro. Thin, soft palm leather and SUPER comfortable. No gauntlet is a bummer though. Cheap too, only $45 at my local dealership. I am amazed at how warm these thin gloves are. I highly recommend them as a cool morning glove. Here's a link to them: http://www.klim.com/Inversion-Pro-Glove-5035-001

Good deal you got there.
I didn't know you could buy a button from klim for less than 50 bucks
