34K ish with no issues other than lack of riding time. Currently my only bike but if I had to live with just one, this is it. Bad ass boxer and the industrial Berlin look in Raiders colors checks all my boxes.

Gearbox is a little clunky on 2016's and headlights need updating for urban visibility but roll on instant lb. foots exiting corners never gets old, handy when escaping Yeti.

Rode a 2016 with 675 miles on it, original owner. He’s asking 11,900. Bone stock except for the BMW OEM gps unit.

I am considering it - since I really want the luggage and a non stock seat, I may wait.

Riding season is ending soon up north so there may be some other choices.

Thoughts?

So he rode it less than 175 miles per year??
Wow.

Yah. Said it hurt his back. He had a Ducati Monster in the garage that he rode.

Battery was dead when I arrived so he had to charge it up before the test drive. I really liked the bike.

My target would be under $10K for '16 RS.

I bought my '16 used in September '17 for $10500 with factory side cases and Nav V. It had just under 12K on it.

The opportunity to add Shad cases is a plus, BMW cases are OK but the stock brackets rust and ruin the whole aft end. Call me if you intend to use them. Givi and Shad look better. BMW's are not waterproof... for $999
Nav is a Garmin mentality device, I use it as a data logger and big ass speedometer-TPS-compass readout. Maps are dim and weak on all fronts.
Tires, oil, final drive and battery will need replacing soon. No idea what the market is on them but that's close to what my 1000 mi. demo cost 3 years ago.

Premuim package ? Lupin or stealthy silver ?

You might need one, post the outcome.

The new Nav VI is bright and clear to read in any light. Direct sunlight isn't a problem and no longer requires a shroud to shade the screen.
If you need one for a Nav V, Wunderlich makes one.

Yea, the V was a gift I almost returned or sold. New bikes have TFT displays, 1250 power and I try my best to avoid that dealer visit.

The 1250 looks good and has some nice upgrades. I think you should visit a dealer soon. ;-)

very cool. I'm a sucker for a bit of wind protection. That said, I really enjoy the clean air from the NineT.

Final drive at 30k, really? Thanks for the heads up on the luggage, I’ll give you a call.

That is ****ing hideous.

If by tasty you mean Hershey's bar then yes, almonds for me. Berlin design studios could use a brighter approach to the last 2 years of color choices. Flat Grey, Medium Turd 2.0 and 1962 Ford truck Red will not look good at Starbucks.

No idea what gear oil interval is, not walking 30' to find out either.
What PACKAGE and COLOR you north shore nancy ??

Clean design too, one of the best looking no BS motorbikes ever made.

You guys have got me thinking about this bike as my next bike. Iíve really been enjoying this thread.

I want to be able to spend more hours in the saddle. Stella is a gen 2 with the OEM gel seat. I donít know what it is, the bars, the seat, the íspension, or what, but after 2 hours my butt is telling me to get off this beautiful machine. This may have applications to other areas of my life, but thatís another story. Iíd consider a more comfy ride.

Iíd enjoy lower cruising speed rpms.

I donít want to sacrifice hp or ft.lbs. This Beemer seems comparable in hp, but vastly more in torque. Iím not sure about the weight difference.

I hate weight. I donít want anything much heavier than Stella.

Looks matter. I like the way the boxer looks.

Iím not going cross country, but I want to be able to do 5-8 hours in the saddle.

Yeah, this could be the ticket!
