Good perspective of turn 1, looking back on the straight from there it seems like the rise is a mile. Duc looks good up there.

Thanks. It was fun.

I have been to every motogp there and have been on top of T1 looking down at the ft straight a hundred times. When you are on pit row getting ready to get on the track for the first time and you look up at T1, your stomach sinks.

T1 is no joke, but on the same hand that entire track is no joke.........and I'm going back in 2 weeks.

I drug my foot peg my last outing playing on the street. Would love to go to a track day but better get this foot peg deal figured out.

Called in sick to work and went to the track last Monday with The Grommet. It was a beautiful day with a light crowd so it was an excellent trackday.
(okay, we didn't really call in sick)

I had eye trouble that day - couldn't see being at work.

Yes, it was a good day. I was taking it easy. First time back at the track since I crashed there last year, first time on the SD, and on tires I wasn't familiar with. I'm easing back into track riding slowly.

First track day in over 30 years!!
I took it easy as COTA is a very technical track with loads of blind corners. Had a hugely rewarding and safe day. PTL

That last pic is finding (trying) the apex on top of turn 1. It's UP there and blind as a bat.
Looking good man.

I wish I had seen what my old Gen1 could've done at the track. It was dialed in pretty good. Get back out there.

WOW, what an elevation change that is at the end of the straight.... Is that the turn that comes back down after the crest, causing lots of people to lift the front (or both) wheels?

Gotta get the knee down well before the peg is touching! It's frustrating, as I've only ever dragged peg or toes as well

Having seen your videos before... you're looking very sedate out there, good self control! Smart move taking the whole front cowl off too.

Good shot. The photographer doesn't always get the best shots, but he's trying his best I guess. I think he got one of you with your knee down that looked pretty good.

You should have mounted the rear trunk...that would have been hilarious watching you blow by all the slick shod sportbikes.
