RIP Sparkles.
She's the one on the left. 13 1/2 years.
A victim of Cancer, mother of 7 and most feared cat in the house even by her three grandkitties.

Geddy is now 9 months old and 72lbs.

He is pretty crazy but crashes hard when he gets tired.

Tied a porkchop around my neck and made some new friends.

Lexi

Anni

Lexi is a pure bred chow hound. Anni is a Belgian Malinois, aka Belgian Shepard. She's Morman, hence the magic underwear. She also just got fixed yesterday so the underwear are coming in handy since she'd probably go nuts wearing a cone of shame. They're fosters until Lexi gets fixed in December and we can adopt them.

Malinois are great dogs but really need to get their exercise/work done on a daily basis.
There are some crazy videos of them climbing trees and scaling walls on you tube.
I wonder how many got hurt being trained to do that? Seems like it may be a bit too extreme and maybe borderline abusive,.... to me anyhow.

Any idea what happened to her ears?

She's a rescue, so it's hard to say for certain, but since the ears are somewhat symmetrical best guess is some pos cut them trying to give them a double pointed look. Back story is someone saw them get dumped out of a car in the city and that person's neighbor took them in until their landlord said no pets and they've been in a local rescue since.

small zoo

Well, we have almost reached the embarrassing point of pet ownership...

Here is Paul, our 9 year old American Eskimo...acts like he his less than 3... and rarely barks, real nice dog.

This is my personal favorite cat Lily, my wife has talked me into, a simple barn cat that seems to know it has it good here. All it's siblings were dead rather quickly, maybe that was something of a lesson

And this is Fecal, nice Cockatiel that demands to be scratched.

We do have another cat...who has rejected us, which is fine by me. He gets food, but seems to not want to come inside anymore. The addition of Lily has apparently frustrated him.

Your pic brought me back to this pic of an earlier cat also now dead, this picture was just amazing, totally unplanned I just snapped it coming home for lunch knowing my wife would be amazed to see the black cat next to the pumpkin.

That picture was taken last year around Halloween. I just put food down on the top of the Pumpkin when Darla was out. Sparkles wasn't much of an outdoor cat but when I brought her out she stuck around long enough to eat some food and get the pictures.
