Thanks Des. We really labored on whether to let Bailey ride it out or get another. With the age of the kids, I have no freedom for lot's of years yet, so we figured, why not!
Plus, she came already spayed and house trained

Hammer-
How is it that cat's eyes don't "red-eye" like dogs and humans? Is it cuz they are, well, of the ...? (j/k ). She looks pretty fed and happy.

Just took these of the dogs. I hang out in my garage (who doesn't?) and had to carpet it because Bailey's back legs have trouble on anything slick. This has become the dogs wrestle time. First one, not a good shot, but had to get the FZ in somehow. The second is one of my all time favorites (already). The fight's not really fair, as one is fast and hyper, and the other is gimpy and blind, but Bailey has the weight advantage...

This is Piper, half German Shepard, half Arizona Coyote. I got her when she was around a year and a half, so I missed the who puppy thing, but she needed a home, and I needed a dog. She is about 5 now, and is as hyper-active as ever.

Every once in a while my dog gets this funny look in her eye -- kinda spooks me out a little.

She's a little camera shy due to the flash, but wouldn't hurt a fly.

I had a golden lab growing up, "Dozer," short for, Bulldozer. (he was so big even as a pup he used to accidentally tip little kids over when they got near him if he moved even a bit. Kind of like a bull in china shop, kinda'....

Anyway, I'd love to have another Dozer someday. He was the perfect friend. But until then I have crabs.... no not those kind.

Hermit crabs. My wife & I travel so much we can't have your standard, dog, cat, fish or even a plant that needs much care. So we have hermit crabs. I've got their 10 gallon tank set up so we can leave for several weeks if need be. They've got all the fresh food & water they need.

This is my second Rottie... contrary to what some feel, these dogs have been the best of all the breeds I've had! Very sweet, loyal.... this one is even afraid of the dark. Okay.... maybe not AFRAID of it.... but she doesn't like being outside alone after dark. LMAO

This one is old... I need to upload the new ones. She's thickened up quite a bit... up to about 120 pounds now
regal.jpg

Here's a pic of her as a pup... shortly after we realized the liquid paper had been stolen!

"huh?.... why NO, I have not seen the liquid paper you silly human"
