Just got them in the mail today. Seem like a nice solid piece. Just need to sand and paint. Don't have the bike yet so can do a fitment test but I am sure it will look and fit just fine. Thanks

Glad to hear you like them, and I'll happily wait for some painted and installed photos.

In other news, intro pricing is still going on till the end of May...It's your chance to get your Mirror Eliminators at the best price they'll ever be offered at.

Please let me know if I can help with anything.

Cheers.

Just sharing a few photos on a clean pearl white fairing, printed with the white Versatile Plastic material, which is the 'Default' material listed in Shapeways. It's not a perfect white match, but I'll let you decide what makes the most sense for your specfiic application.

Cheers.

Just thinking out loud here...but would it make sense to offer a Mirror Eliminator with a go-pro mount built in?

It takes away somewhat from the swept surfaces...but might be nice to limit the mounts stuck to the side of the bike?

Thoughts?

Just a few photos to share today.

I ended up putting black Mirror Eliminators on my retro, as seen here:

Also found a customer on one of the FZ facebook groups, and asked if I could snag these photos from him during a track day. Pretty cool.

Cheers

Just a quick check in. I put in holiday pricing today, good thru the end of the year.

The website pricing has been updated with a pretty solid 10% discount thru end of December.

Cheers.

I also started my own lil facebook page for design work...Not sure if anything will come of it, but it'll help provide a bit more background on me, and my processes...

Thanks for reading along.

About to go about mounting. couple of questions, I'm going to be drilling and tapping adding studs, will Loctite work with the plastic? Will epoxy etch primer adhere?

Hey Blanchy - I'm not sure about Loctite....but I DID use 2part JB-Weld on some studs I tested out a long while back...and they held fine for the intended purpose.

If anyone else has any thoughts, I'd be all ears.

Thanks.

I'd stay away from Loctite and plastics. I've had bad results.
