Dani Pedrosa announces retirement

Sad to see this, One of the good guys in the paddock. Hope he sticks around in the paddock and mentors the young guys on how to be a good sportsman.

Bautista is now the favourite for the SIC Yamaha ride with Morbidelli (If Morbidelli can get out of his Marc VDS contract, apparently they still don't know if they are racing next year in MotoGP or not).
Brembo 16mm Radial MC, ASV short Levers, Brembo GP4-RX calipers, Hell braided lines, R1 Fender, Ohlins FGRT 206 forks, Ohlins shock (tuned - Racebike Services), Marchesini rims, Vortex 48t sprocket, Arrow Headers - Micron GP slipon, tailtidy, Rizoma (risers, conical bars, Lux grips, bar ends, 744 mirrors, fluid reservoir, Rev rearsets/B Pro pegs), Speedo healer, BMC filter, AIS Block off, PCV (tuned - Neville Lush Racing), Pirelli DR III, Ivan's ECU, GF-Design LED Blinkers, DID gold chain

Talented rider for sure, but too many things have stacked up to take him out of the top spots far too often. Bummer, but there's some good talent coming into the fray.

Honda Lifer. So many injuries. His collar bone deserves to be in the MotoGP hall of fame!

The most successful rider to never win a championship.

Much respect for him. I hope he has millions stashed away and retires happily.

I ditto grommet in the respect department. I am gonna miss seeing him race after this season. Maybe he'll find a way to stay involved in the sport, even if it isn't as a racer.

I've been a Pedrosa fan since he moved into MotoGP. I couldn't believe how such a tiny slightly built guy could ride such a monster bike the way he did. Too fragile and too unlucky to be a world champion but I'll bet not many riders have put as many constructors championship points in the bag for their employer as he did.

I would have loved to see him ride a Yamaha, but I hope he has a good retirement.

Long career. Three-time champion. Good time to retire.

I hope he stays involved and teaches young people.

Best wishes in retirement. I’ll never forget that race when Marquez cut his traction control wire.
