I stream music from my IPod , occasionally accept calls and get garmin directions using my G9. The music volume does rise and fall with the background noise and turbulence

Have not used bike to bike yet

Do any of these systems enable you to plug in your own earbuds?

I'm fussy about music fidelity and would prefer to use my ER-6's rather than a pair of small speakers trying to penetrate foam earplugs.

Sena offers different helmet mounts that allow use of earbuds.

I know the Scala Q2 pro does not but you can hear them fine through the ear plugs, even foam ones.

But I wonder if you can just cut the speakers off and wire in some others of choice.

I'm hooked up to iPhone and IPod using G9 with Shoei Qwest. Still working on streaming Garmin otherwise great
