I'm not sure if 3d printing is the right material to be using for a tie down point to be completely honest. The R&G units linked are aluminum pieces, and I'm sure are a nice piece....but at the same time, they're priced at Revzilla for $80.

Out of curiosity, what's the outer diameter of that tie down ring?

The product idea I originally had, was literally just a cosmetic improvement without the high price point.

I wouldn't be opposed to trying to mock up some sort of tie-down feature to include...but it just may not make sense from a price-point.
