Would you stand up on this design?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/MCR-CNC-40M...r=571848682282

Looks like you would be standing on a bolt bassically. I mean a guys gotta stand up and stretch every once in a while. Looks like this would drop the pegs about 1/2 in lower than the Buell pegs with the ability to move them forward or back, up or down.
Do you think they would support 200 plus pounds?

I'm sure a design like that COULD work...if it were made of quality materials and engineered correctly.

My experience with 'generic' Chinese parts (for guitars, motorcycles, cars, household stuff, etc) leads me to believe it will likely be neither. Or at least I wouldn't trust it-especially if you consider that when you stand up over a bump, you've got more than your body weight in force on those pegs...

My only experience with Chinese pegs was 3-4 years ago. Peg was sloppy so I went to put a bushing in it. When I drilled it slightly bigger I found it had as many voids as metal. It went straight into the trash.

My balls sympathetically hurt just thinking about the consequences of this proposal.

Well technically, standing on 2 bolts and shit material..........

That said, a good set of rearsets (Rizoma etc) you can get the drop your looking for.

I had one break. Chinese part, cast aluminum. Would not buy again.

In my experience, machined parts from China are usually pretty good but the hardware on that set does not look like it's up to the task.

Probably not.
