Terry Adcox Custom Seat

I just received my custom seat from Terry, so far I'd say it looks great, I can't ride it till this weekend but it seems to fit well... This is a seat style he called a full bucket with wings that tapered down quicker... So something between the sport and the typical full bucket he makes.* For me this seemed a must for any significant trips, the Spencer mod just didn't work out for me.**I figured some of you might like to see this variation of seat.

Looks great for upright, never moving your butt riding.

I live in Iowa...
But I'm also a smaller guy and I find I can move around sufficiently for the riding I do...and by moving around I just mean for comfort. The wings really don't intrude for what we have in Iowa, and there are a whole lot of miles between me and any real curves. Seems like a good compromise to me.. I had to admit to myself that I simply spend 99% on nothing that requires sliding off the seat, so why hurt for what isn't happening anyway

Very nice-looking seat. I'm guessing it raises you up higher than the unaltered OEM seat, correct? Is that a Copperdawg rear cowl?

Yeah, I feel slightly higher, but I'll give that up for the other benefit. and yes that's Cooperdawgs

... Edit, I should probably hold my review until I actually ride it, LOL. I feel like I'm in a different position but in all actuality my feet hit the ground just about the same way they did with the stock seat. But I feel like the seat hits me differently in the back of the leg at that point. The wing is obviously there for when you're riding not when you're standing still...

It looks almost like a Russell Day-Long seat, but with more hugging on the backside

What a Russell looks like on a FZ1

Dang those look cushy. I have a Sargent World Sport and it is good but not great for long rides.

I have Terry’s seats on my Tenere and love it. He was really great to work with. Great customer service.
