Are you kidding me?! That's gorgeous. It was 70 and sunny and great riding here this weekend, but that is gorgeous.

nursed the bike out over the hockey rink that is the lane behind my garage and rode for an hour or 2 yesterday, sunny and 9 degrees C or so. Was sweet. Maybe my last chance before real winter.

Good god that looks cold. I really am curious if the dryness would actually be easier on my back than the wet cold here...

I tried but could not make it through the first 15 minutes. I'll drink more tonight and give it another try.

85 degrees here today, in Watsonville, Ca.

And this being Nov. first! lol!

Ride tomorrow, to Morro Bay with a very quiet rider. Fall FZ1OA, Mini Gather of course.

Hope it won't be too warm, on the ride! lol!

It's been above average everywhere for a couple days now. I've been leaving the bedroom windows open during the day for about a week, turned on the heat weeks ago but it doesn't run during the day. Last night I left the windows open all night, didn't even put a sheet up until about 3am.

That sounds fun Dean. Is Highway 1 open all the way down there?

It was 46°F on my ride into work, and it's gonna hit 40°F by the wee hours when I go home. My Joe Rocket Survivor suit is working nicely and my Tour Master gloves keep me digits warm!

Okay so I’ve been in Texas/North texas for the last 12/5 years. Grew up in Missouri and with snow and sledding, etc. but the lowest I’ve seen in 5 years is 20 degrees and the most I’ve had to deal with it is from the Sheriffs Office to home which is like 4 miles, either bike or ice cold leather seats in the Celica.
As y’all might know, I work for Halliburton now and all our work has been in OK so far. Well, today was the first snow of the year! Was snowing and windy alllllll morning since 4am when we left for work. Stopped snowing around 2pm and it’s gonna get down to 13 degrees today. Been outside in it for 12 hours, only about an hour or so sitting up in a warm tractor cab. It’s only gonna get worse and next 14 day hitch we go to nights (4pm-7am). YIKES. Oklahoma wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t so windy while it’s cold. Here was my view this morning. The mud slush pit is very annoying as well.

Do you have your desk over near it? Or do you just lie on the tiger rug in front of it?
