About 7700. If you don’t slab a lot this is not the tire for you. But they mix great with my riding style, and wore evenly from edge to edge, I’d have to nitpick stuff to complain about the road 5s.
Sorry, I lied. I could’ve swore it was 7700. But I reset my trip 2 after I put these tires on, and it said I was only 7300. Original post corrected.

Getting a head start. The bulk of parts should be here in a couple days. Had to place a second order for some smaller washers I overlooked. I watched a couple videos on YouTube done by Bill Ramirez (Member on here?). Nicely done vids but is missing the part where he installed the bushing in the lower fork leg.

But, it has begun..

You can make a socket to remove the cartridge, just heat the tip of it and take an impression of the cartridge upper nut, also make sure to use some fork oil or a little grease on the bushings before pushing the fork tube in the fork leg

this homemade tool will hold the cartridge from spinning while tightening the lower hex bolt/ screw.

I actually broke the bolt free while the fork was still together. From there, I used a stoopid long HF flat blade screwdriver wrapped in a rag to hold the cartridge from spinning. Worked like a charm.

But I love the idea of the PVC pipe for holding it while tightening. I will pick up a section when I run to Lowes tomorrow and make one. I'm sure the install will go easier.

Thanks!!!
