Do it, Barb! Maybe some could ride out to meet you.
(there's a really great route from SD to there)

Who? anybody in our group from around there? I will be so alone

Depending on what day(s) you'll be there ... maybe some could take a day or two off to see you. I would certainly be willing to take a little ride out there. Palm Springs is full of holes (golf courses) if that interests you.

Ha ha, Bill wouldn't be allowed to go. I'm not into the hole game but it would be great to meet you all.

Can we not sticky and lock the original thread? Maybe cut it into two peices?

It's 60 degrees here. Last week it was -7. Go figure.

What's this thread about again?

That's being looked into. It COULD be that just trying to view that thread is a resource killer at this point. And unless there is some trick that only the admins can do, there is no way to split the thread other than to put a check mark next to each post you want to move. I don't think there are any of us around that have the time to click on 50,000 individual posts and move them to a new thread.

My thread count is gone, where is Bill A! Here's his big chance.

Hey RR don't be such a stranger. It's nice having you here and I LOVE your avatar.
